It's the Freedom runners...

Team members from our Manchester and Leeds clinics took to the streets earlier this month in a group attempt at the City of Manchester 10K.

This 10k route starts, and finishes, at the Regional Athletics Arena at SportCity in Eastlands, and takes runners around the outside of the spectacular City of Manchester Stadium.  Known as the People's Run in Manchester as everyone is made equally welcome, all proceeds from the race are donated to local charities.

Decked out in their Freedom finery our plucky runners not only did a cracking job of completing the course, but each member managed to beat their personal best.

Donna Brown, Clinic manager commented:

"It was a really well organised event and a great day out for the whole team.  We all trained quite hard for this event and were really pleased with our results.  Knowing we would be flying the Freedom flag made us extra motivated to do our best! "

The team's outstanding efforts also helped raise funds for a host of charities. Well done team, you did us proud!
